PEQUOT LAKES BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT <br /> VARIANCE HEARING, DEC. 19 , 1995 <br /> DOUG AND SUE RRANDANGER <br /> The variance hearing for Doug and Sue Brandanger was called <br /> to order at 6 : 05 P.M. by Chairman David Oien . Those present <br /> at the hearing were Carol Robideaux , Laura Hofus, Greg Welu, <br /> Mark Jurchen, and Terri Russell . <br /> The variance involve! the south 45 feet and the east 140 feet <br /> of Lot 6 , Block 2 , Pequot Lakes, Minnesota. Presently the <br /> zoning requirement for Exempt Commercial is 50' of lot width. <br /> The lot in question is 45 feet wide thus requiring the variance. <br /> The Board of Adjustment reviewed the Zoning Officer's report <br /> of December 15th, 1995 and noted that all requirements of <br /> Ordinance Section 10. 51 , A, B, C, and D were satisfied. The <br /> request for variance, letter from John Brunes, and the purchase <br /> agreement were read into the record and made available. <br /> A statement in support was made by Bonnie Watt with no <br /> explanation and no statements against the variance were made. <br /> Questions from Chairman Oien included distance on line of <br /> site which is 66 ' Eid distance from wall to curb which is <br /> 1 ,! ' . It was also clarified that the ex sting use of being <br /> a parking lot is not intended and that it is a vacant lot. <br /> The public hearing was closed at 6 : 20 f- r deliberation by the <br /> Board of Adjustment. Greg Welu moved a d Carol Robideau; <br /> seconded the moton to grant he variance citing the Zoning <br /> Officer' s report and the Atta hment defining intented use and <br /> hardship. Mark Jurchen called for the question and the motion <br /> passed unanimously. <br /> The Special Hearing was adjourned at 6 : 25 P.M. by Chai nan <br /> Oien wits no objections. <br /> Mark C.
