PEQUOT LAKES PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION <br /> REGULAR MEETING, NOVEMBER 21 , 1995 <br /> The regular meeting of the Pequot Lakes Planning and Zoning <br /> Commission was called to order at 6:34 P.M. by Chairman, <br /> David Oien. Others present included, Carol Robideaux, Laura <br /> Hofus, and Mark Jurchen. Absent was Greg Welu. <br /> C. Robideaux moved, and L. Hofus, seconded approval of the <br /> minutes from the October 17 , 1995 with the correction that <br /> on the 5th paragraph the statement "Chairman, David Oien <br /> instructed Terri Russell to write a letter of intent" be <br /> corrected to the Pequot Lakes Planning and Zoning Commission <br /> instructed Terri Russell to write a letter of intent. Motion <br /> to approve with correction passed unanimously. <br /> Doug and Sue Brandanger, owners of Brandanger Office Supply <br /> inquired of the commission on how to proceed with building <br /> on the Vacant lot located on the corner of Brown and Front <br /> Street. The current lot is 45 feet wide by 140 feet long. <br /> Existing code requires 50 feet width. The commission advised <br /> the Brandangers to apply for a variance and a Variance Hearing <br /> was scheduled for 6:00 P.M. on 12/19/95. Motion to set the <br /> hearing was made by M. Jurchen, and seconded by L. Hofus. <br /> Motion passed unanimously. <br /> There has been no response or further information on the <br /> non-conforming use of the Kelly Tulenchik property. M. Jurchen <br /> moved to table further action until the next meeting when <br /> T. Russell was available to update the Commission. L. Hofus <br /> seconded the motion and it was passed unanimously. <br /> Motion to review the existing fee schedule was made by M. <br /> Jurchen and seconded by L. Hofus. Motion passed unanimously. <br /> Review will be made when information is made available to <br /> the commission by Terri Russell . <br /> There was discussion on unrecorded variances of the past. <br /> It was decided that Terri will review to see how extensive <br /> the problem may be prior to undertaking a formal review by <br /> the commission. No further action taken. <br /> David Oien, Chairman, stated for the record, his view on <br /> annexation of Sibley Township property. "We don' t need to <br /> annex if we work together properly. " <br />
