PEQUOT LAKES BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT <br /> PUBLIC HEARING <br /> SEPT 30, 1996 <br /> The Pequot Lakes Board of Adjustment variance hearing was called to order <br /> at 5:30 pm, Sept. 30, 1996 at the Pequot Lakes City Hall. Roll call showed <br /> M. Jurchen, D. Gola, C Robideaux, G. Jenson & T. Russell all present. G. <br /> Welu was absent. <br /> Purpose of the hearing was to rule on the ROW setback variance requested <br /> by Lee R. Holck, who was present at the hearing. Legal description: Lots <br /> 14-16, Block 1, Pequot Shady Shores. A 32' variance was requested to <br /> construct a new garage and relocate existing garage. <br /> After discussion, motion by D. Gola, 2nd by C. Robideaux to grant variance <br /> with the following conditions: (1) that the applicant does not remove any <br /> large trees. (2) when the existing building is relocated on the lot, it <br /> meets setback. <br /> Variance granted. Public hearing closed at 5:40 pm. <br /> Informal discussion was held following the public hearing. Elaine <br /> Yablonski expressed an interest in hkving the former E. Musolf property <br /> (corner of Washington & Main) rezoned exempt commercial for the purpose of <br /> opening a glassware & bookstore. Chairman Jurchen explained the procedure- <br /> on zoning change, including the fact that a signed purchase agreement must <br /> be in effect before any action would be taken.
