PEQUOT LAKES PLANNING& ZONING COMMISSION <br /> REGULAR MEETING <br /> TUESDAY,APRIL 21, 1998 <br /> The Pequot Lakes Planning&Zoning Commission public hearing was called to order by <br /> Chairman Mark Jurchen on Tuesday, April 21, 998, at 6:30 p.m. at the Pequot Lakes City <br /> Hall. Roll call: M. Jurchen, J. Thompson, G. Welu. Absent: G. Jenson, F. Martinson. <br /> Motion made by G. Welu and seconded by J. Thompson to approved the minutes of the <br /> last meeting. <br /> The chairman gave a update on the TIF development plan for Halaas property. <br /> Steve Superette was to contact M. Jurchen the first part of April concerning the <br /> comprehensive plan which also includes grants for sewer and water. Sherri Kenzy of <br /> Central Minnesota Initiative Fund will be contacted to talk with him. <br /> A update on the housing grant shows that there is approximatly $110,000 available from <br /> Central Minnesota Initiative Fund through a grant for lower income housing the maximum <br /> on the house cost is $85,000 its a lender participating paying about 50%the income limit <br /> is approximatly$35,000 annual for a family of four. Linda Nfimm from Pequot Lakes <br /> Real Estate had a few questions concerning lot reguirements and made a suggestion to the <br /> committee that they may want to seek assistance from realtors instead of having to look <br /> themselves. <br /> Mark gave a summary on the status of the Storm Sewer ordinance. <br /> Motion by G. Welu and seconded by J. Thompson to adjourn at 6:58 p.m.. <br />
