PEQUOT LAKES <br /> PLANNING & ZONING COMMISSION <br /> REGULAR MEETING <br /> SEPTEMBER 21, 1999 <br /> The regular meeting of the Pequot Lakes Planning & Zoning <br /> Commission was called to order by Chairman F. Martinson at 7:00 p.m. in the <br /> Council Chambers of Pequot Lakes City Hall. Present was F. Martinson, J. <br /> Thompson, C. Clarke and T. Saccoman. Absent was G. Welu. <br /> MOTION BY T. SACCOMAN AND SECONDED BY C. <br /> CLARKE THAT THE MINUTES OF THE JULY 20, 1999 BE <br /> APPROVED. MOTION CARRIED UNANIMOUSLY. <br /> RESOLUTION FOR TAX INCREMENT FINANCING DISTRICT <br /> NO. 1-9 <br /> SARA DALE, LIME GREENERY <br /> This issue was tabled until October 4, 1999. F. Martinson called a special <br /> meeting regarding the Tax Increment Financing for Sarah Dale. There were a <br /> number of concerns voiced, which included the length of the TIF, the creation <br /> of District 1-9 and why Ms. Dale did not attend the hearing. <br /> The purpose for the special meeting will be for Ms. Dale and Sheila <br /> Havercamp of BLADC to present building plans to the Planning Commission <br /> and what the plans are for the use of the building. A recommendation will be <br /> made to the City Council on Tuesday, October 5, 1999. <br /> APPLICATION FOR VARIANCE — OUTLOT A, INDUSTRIAL <br /> PARK <br /> The City of Pequot Lakes is requesting a variance to erect a 1,800 sq. ft. <br /> storage building in a Light Industrial zone. This requires a minimum of 3,000 <br /> sq. ft. <br /> After discussing the purchase of other lots and future buildings in the <br /> Industrial Park, F. Martinson suggested that the Board of Adjustment be held <br /> on Monday, October 4, 1999 to move up the process. <br />
