PEQUOT LAKES PLANNING& ZONING COMMISSION <br /> PUBLIC HEARING/REGULAR MEETING <br /> APRIL 20, 1999 <br /> The regular meeting of the Pequot Lakes Planning&Zoning Commission was <br /> called to order by Chairman F. Martinson at 6:32 p.m. in the Council Chambers of Pequot <br /> Lakes City Hall. Present were T. Saccoman, G. Welu,J. Thompson, C. Clarke and F. <br /> Martinson. <br /> MOTION BY F. MARTINSON AND SECONDED BY T. SACCOMAN <br /> THAT THE MINUTES OF THE MARCH 16, 1999 BE APPROVED WITH <br /> CORRECTIONS. MOTION CARRIED UNANIMOUSLY. <br /> PUBLIC HEARING <br /> The public hearing was called to order at 6:35 p.m. by Chairman F. Martinson. The <br /> purpose of the public hearing was to consider a Conditional Use Permit for Personal <br /> Communications Services d.b.a. as Access Plus, Inc. Present was Charles Beisner,Real- <br /> estate Broker representing Access Plus. T. Saccoman voiced concern about the neighbors <br /> being notified. F. Martinson presented a list in which all neighbors were notified by mail. <br /> G. Welu stated it was very well prepared. <br /> MOTION BY G. WELU AND SECONDED BY J. THOMPSON THAT THE <br /> CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT BE APPROVED TO BUILD A COMMUNICATIONS <br /> TOWER IN LOT 4, BLOCK 1 OF THE PEQUOT LAKES INDUSTRIAL PARK. <br /> MOTION CARRIED UNANIMOUSLY. <br /> The public hearing was closed at 6:42 p.m. <br /> LAND USE CLASSIFICATION <br /> Commission members will continue to review the additions to the Land Use <br /> Ordinance and discuss them at a future meeting. <br /> EXTRA TERRITORIAL STUDY <br /> The Commission stated that they would like to schedule a workshop with the City <br /> Council before they pursue the proposal. <br /> NEW BUSINESS <br /> The Commission discussed the zoning of J. Wallin's property. F.Martinson stated <br /> that Mr. Wallin has the right to go before the Commission if he would like a hearing. <br />
