NUMBER OF DOGS ALLOWED <br />The number allowed shall be a maximum of three do�s over six (61 months of a�e �er <br />residence unless otherwise allowed bv conditional use permit as per Chapter 17. <br />Section 9-2.13. VACCINATION; RABIES; PROCEDURE <br />1. Vaccination Required. Every dog six (6) months of age and older, at the <br />expense of the owner, shall maintain a current rabies vaccination at all times. �e <br />and shall provide a current vaccination certification to <br />the city at time of licensing. <br />� , <br />,.�,. ,...,�;o� ,.,,+�...o,,,. <br />� <br />2. Rabies Proclamation. Whenever the prevalence of rabies renders such <br />action necessary to protect the public's health and safety, the City Council, upon <br />advice of the Crow Wing County Health Officer, shall issue a proclamation <br />declaring such emergency. Any dog running at large during the time fixed in the <br />proclamation and suspected of being rabid, may be euthanized by the Pequot <br />Lakes Police Department without notice to the owner. <br />3. Certification. Every owner of a dog shall obtain from the dog's <br />veterinarian, at the time of vaccinating any dog, a certificate of rabies vaccination, <br />which certificate shall include the following information: <br />A. Owner's name and address; <br />B. Description of the animal; <br />C.
