� <br />• Elimination of the definition of "kennel" as the City <br />does not have an ordinance regulating kennels. <br />• The number of dogs allowed. (This was not previously <br />mentioned in the ordinance. If the Council concurs <br />with the suggested 3 dogs, then a short term policy <br />should be adopted that allows property owners to <br />grandfather in their existing dogs over the number of <br />3 for a certain amount of time – and allowing them to <br />be licensed until deceased). <br />11.B. Ordinance Amendment Relatin� to Animal <br />Husbandrv <br />The Council tabled this request at the December meeting to <br />allow staff time to prepare the ordinance amendment <br />`- relating to dogs. See attached Planning Commission report <br />on this item. The Planning Commission has recommended <br />that this ordinance amendment be adopted. <br />— <br />Council Action Requested: <br />1. Council motion to adopt the ordinance regulating <br />��: <br />2. Council motion to adopt a policy to grandfather <br />number of existing dogs for a certain period of time. <br />3.
