(2). If the owner is unwilling to have the bitten dog euthanized, <br />�- strict isolation of the dog in a kennel under veterinarian <br />supervision for a minimum of six (6) months shall be <br />required. The owner of the dog shall be responsible for the <br />expense thereof. <br />� <br />B. Vaccinated Animals. If the bitten dog is vaccinated in accordance <br />with the provisions of this Section, the dog shall be held as <br />follows: <br />(1). The dog shall immediately be revaccinated and confined at <br />the owner's home for a period of thirty (30) days following <br />revaccination; or, <br />(2). If the dog is not immediately revaccinated, the animal shall <br />be confined in strict isolation in a kennel for six (6) months <br />under the supervision of a veterinarian. <br />8. Any dog found off the owner's premises and not wearing a valid N"� <br />�� do lig cense tag shall be impounded. � Proof of payment of the <br />prescribed pound fees and compliance with the rabies vaccination requirements of <br />this Chapter, �e^� �� shall be furnished to the City Clerk's office within <br />seventy-two (72) hours of the dog's release from the pound. <br />Section 9-2.14. PENALTY FOR VIOLATION <br />1. Any person who is found to be in violation of this Article shall be guilty of <br />a petty misdemeanor. <br />2. Any person who harbors a dangerous dog or potentially dangerous dog in <br />violation to the provisions of this Article shall be guilty of a misdemeanor. <br />Effective Date: This ordinance amendment shall be in full force and effect from and <br />after passage and publication according to state law. <br />Repeal: This ordinance shall repeal all ordinances inconsistent herewith. <br />ATTEST: <br />`,.
