� <br />— <br />� <br />City of <br />Pequot <br />Lakes = - <br />AGENDA ITEM #11.7. <br />REPORT TO <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />Date: January 4, 2011 <br />Sub •�: Business Subsidy Policy <br />Report: During the past several months the EDC has been <br />working toward amending the City's existing Business <br />Subsidy Policy. The proposed policy has been reviewed by <br />the EDC, the Planning Commission, BLADC, Springsted, <br />and Briggs and Morgan. <br />In order to adopt the proposed policy, the City must hold a <br />public hearing. This draft is being presented to the Council <br />for review prior to calling for a public hearing to adopt the <br />policy. <br />Sheila Haverkamp will be available at the public hearing to <br />answer questions. If the Council is comfortable with this <br />proposed policy, a public hearing could be called for the <br />February Council meeting. If the Council would like a <br />work session prior to the public hearing to have the policy <br />explained, this could be arranged for February and the <br />
