V. <br /> PEOUOT LAKES <br /> PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION <br /> REGULAR MEETING <br /> MARCH 21, 2001 <br /> Taren Saccoman called the regular meeting of the Pequot Lakes Planning&Zoning Commission to order at <br /> 6:30 p.m. in the Council Chambers of Pequot Lakes City Hall. <br /> Present were: Jerry Thompson, Taren Saccoman, Tommy Woog and Carrie Walsh. Absent was Tony Maurer. <br /> Motion was made by Taren Saccoman to recommend to the Council that Carrie Walsh be appointed to the <br /> Planning&Zoning Commission. Seconded by Jerry Thompson. Motion was carried unanimously. <br /> Public Hearing-Rezone H.R.A. property <br /> Walt Bruns gave a brief overview of the proposed building and requested a change from Wooded Residential to <br /> Multi-family Residential. Motion to accept made by Jerry Thompson, seconded by Tommy Woog and carried <br /> unanimously. <br /> Public Hearing-Preliminary Plat Approval-Rush Bay <br /> David Landecker on behalf of Mary Rush presented preliminary Plat. Lengthy discussions took place, as there <br /> were several members of the Sibley Lake Association in attendance. The Lake Association wants research done <br /> on density factor of the properties going up for Auction as they will remain Waterfront Commercial (with deed <br /> restrictions put in by Mary Rush). Motion made by Taren Saccoman to recommend that the City Council <br /> accept the plat and to rezone Lot 4 from Waterfront Commercial to Wooded Residential. Seconded by Tommy <br /> Woog. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> Wayne Chamberlain <br /> Wayne has decided to halt plans for a concession stand. <br /> Dean Clink Property <br /> Property is located at 3878 West Lake Street. Mr. Clink would like to subdivide the lot into 3 parcels. He will <br /> get a surveyor out to plot the properties. <br /> David Watkins-Garage <br /> Owner of property at 31061 Honeysuckle Street would like a variance to construct a garage on the property. <br /> Setbacks will not be met. We will start the paperwork and publish the notice. <br /> Pz32201 <br />
