V. PEOUOT LAKES PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION REGULAR MEETING MARCH 21, 2001 Taren Saccoman called the regular meeting of the Pequot Lakes Planning&Zoning Commission to order at 6:30 p.m. in the Council Chambers of Pequot Lakes City Hall. Present were: Jerry Thompson, Taren Saccoman, Tommy Woog and Carrie Walsh. Absent was Tony Maurer. Motion was made by Taren Saccoman to recommend to the Council that Carrie Walsh be appointed to the Planning&Zoning Commission. Seconded by Jerry Thompson. Motion was carried unanimously. Public Hearing-Rezone H.R.A. property Walt Bruns gave a brief overview of the proposed building and requested a change from Wooded Residential to Multi-family Residential. Motion to accept made by Jerry Thompson, seconded by Tommy Woog and carried unanimously. Public Hearing-Preliminary Plat Approval-Rush Bay David Landecker on behalf of Mary Rush presented preliminary Plat. Lengthy discussions took place, as there were several members of the Sibley Lake Association in attendance. The Lake Association wants research done on density factor of the properties going up for Auction as they will remain Waterfront Commercial (with deed restrictions put in by Mary Rush). Motion made by Taren Saccoman to recommend that the City Council accept the plat and to rezone Lot 4 from Waterfront Commercial to Wooded Residential. Seconded by Tommy Woog. Motion carried unanimously. Wayne Chamberlain Wayne has decided to halt plans for a concession stand. Dean Clink Property Property is located at 3878 West Lake Street. Mr. Clink would like to subdivide the lot into 3 parcels. He will get a surveyor out to plot the properties. David Watkins-Garage Owner of property at 31061 Honeysuckle Street would like a variance to construct a garage on the property. Setbacks will not be met. We will start the paperwork and publish the notice. Pz32201
