PEOUOT LAKES �.. PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION REGULAR MEETING APRIL 17 2001 Taren Saccoman called the regular meeting of the Pequot Lakes Planning&Zoning Commission to order at 6:30 p.m. in the Council Chambers of Pequot Lakes City Hall. Present were: Jerry Thompson, Taren Saccoman, Tommy Woog, Tony Maurer. Absent was Carrie Walsh. Public Hearing-Zoning Ordinance Amendment Discussion took place between the P&Z Board and Jeff Walden of the Lake Association regarding the proposed 200-foot length dock amendment. Jeff is going to check with the Lake Association to see if there is a shorter length that could be agreed upon. He will get back to us at the next meeting with his findings. Motion was made by Tom Woog to table this until next months meeting. Motion seconded by Jerry Thompson and was carried unanimously. Motion to approve last months minutes. A date correction should be made to the cover sheet to read 2001 not 2000. Motion made by Tony Mauer and seconded by Jerry Thompson . Motion carried unanimously. Bob Beck property at 30802 Old Highway 371. Bob proposed subdividing his lot and putting up four town homes. Property would need to be rezoned from Medium Density Residential to Multi Family. Entrances to the town homes would be off Gravdahl Drive. A drawing of the propose unit was left here. It was requested of Bob to bring in a sight plan and actual photos of the proposed town homes that would be coming from Walker Nfinnesota. Taren suggested we set a Public Hearing for Tuesday, 5/15/01. Bob will present his additional information at that time. Wayne Chamberlain. Wayne is now interested in purchasing the property that houses Marietta's Pie's, The Old Church Gift Shop and the Halbeck house. This property is zoned appropriately for Wayne's idea of a small Retail center. He has checked with Brett regarding the water and sewer situation. Meting was adjourned at 7:25 p.m. Pz41701
