/s/ Ann Beaver Ann Beaver President, Cullen Lakes Association(all three Cullen Lakes are partially in Pequot Lakes) Board member, Crow Wing County Lakes and Rivers Alliance Member, Crow Wing County Board of Adjustment Member,Nisswa Planning Commission Mr. Marohn explained that a moratorium should not be passed for a specific issue. Ordinance update processes were discussed. Mr. Marohn has a working draft available. Members would like to see words on paper and be a part of the process. Mr. Marohn explained that he would like to meet with PLADO and the Chamber first. A motion was made by Karl Moon, seconded by John Derksen,to recommend a 12 month moratorium on any Planned Unit Developments, and amended to include subdivisions within one (1) mile of the TH 371 and County Road 11 intersection. Roll Call Vote: Mr. Habein: Aye; Mr. Nelson: Nay; Mr. Williams: Nay; Mr. Moon: Aye; Mr. Derksen: Aye;Mr. Adams: Nay. 3-3. Mr. Woog: Aye. 4—3. Motion carried. A moratorium on all permits was discussed. Commission members requested a copy of the working draft of the new ordinance. Mr. Marohn will get the draft out with their packets next month. APPROVAL OF MINUTES: A motion was made by Karl Moon, seconded by John Derksen,to accept the June Minutes as read. All members voted"aye". A motion was made by Karl Moon, seconded by Marty Nelson, to accept the July Minutes as read. All members voted"aye". PLANNING AND ZONING ADMINISTTRATOR'S REPORT: Permits and Correspondence: Bittner pointed out the 13 Permits issued in July and the 14 letters that had been sent. Commission members pointed out that the tone of the letter to Lakes State Bank was a little harsh and violation letters should be toned down in the future. 1.
