Business Park Lot—Sale Price and Marketing Plan
Sheila Haverkamp noted that there are three industrial parks in Crow Wing
County. Pequot Lakes' lots sell for$30,000 per acre; Brainerd lots sell for
$50,000—65,000 per acre and Baxter's lots sell for whatever the market value
would support which is $100,000 per acre. The Clerk questioned what the EDC
would like to sell the lot available in the Pequot Lakes Business Park. It was
suggested that the City contact Close Converse Real Estate to find out what the
market is for the lot. The EDC also suggested that because this is the last city-
owned lot that it be reserved for an economic development project that would
benefit the City. It was the consensus of the EDC that the lot be reserved for an
economic development project that will benefit the community and that all
proposals will be considered.
7.
