Crow Wing County has more than 5,000 home based businesses. <br /> BLAEDC and its partners offer business planning and support services to entrepre- <br /> neurs. <br /> Attraction—Targeted opportunities are key for BLAEDC. We engage with regional and <br /> state partners, participate in programs that connect us to site selectors and others. A <br /> key opportunity is to promote and market locally so visitors and seasonal homeowners <br /> recognize our area for business development opportunities as well. We need all resi- <br /> dents to join us in promoting our area. <br /> Community Development— BLAEDC is a resource to the local community and various or- <br /> ganizations.
