8/16/11 EDC WAC/SAC Discussion <br /> It was the consensus of the EDC to address the Council regarding this subject and ask for <br /> water/sewer Council liaison to attend an EDC meeting to discuss this issue further. The <br /> EDC would like to review and/or consider the following: <br /> • WAC/SAC Policy - Ordinance <br /> • WAC/SAC Charges/Fees (Competitive with other communities) <br /> • Adjust the present WAC/SAC charges to incorporate an ERC component <br /> and make the costs fair for commercial and residential <br /> • What are future cost needs of water/sewer departments <br /> • Sewer and Water Ordinance needs updating <br /> • Update the rate study that was done in 2007 <br /> • Explore the WAC and SAC fee system for the purpose of encouraging <br /> economic development <br />
