Ideally, submittals will be minimal (thus reducing costs)
and approvals will be handled at the staff level with a turnaround time of days
instead of weeks.
Existing Code
The following is the section of the Code that deals with lots splits of this type. For
reference,we have crossed off all of the items in this section that we could exempt
the Industrial Park properties from.
Section 17-9.2 PRELIMINARY PLAT, PRELIMINARY COMMON INTEREST COMMUNITY
PLAT,PRELIMINARY CONDOMINIUM PLAT OR METES AND BOUNDS SUBDIVISION
RESULTING IN AT LEAST ONE PARCEL LESS THAN 10 ACRES.
A Preliminary Plat, Preliminary Common Interest Community Plat, Preliminary
Condominium Plat, or Metes and Bounds Subdivision resulting in at least one parcel
less than 10 acres shall contain the following data:(except as waived in advance by
... 1 We want to make sure that a bank will not have title concerns s that a commercial loan can be obtained
on the property.
WWW.COMMUNITYGROWTH.COM WWW.STRONGTOWNS.ORG
