Tim Houle discussed the <br /> meaning of an equivalent residential connection(ERC). <br /> It was the consensus of the EDC to address the Council regarding this subject and <br /> ask for water/sewer Council liaison to attend an EDC meeting to discuss this issue <br /> further. The EDC would like to review and/or consider the following: <br /> • WAC/SAC Policy- Ordinance <br /> • WAC/SAC Charges/Fees (Competitive with other communities) <br /> • Adjust the present WAC/SAC charges to incorporate an ERC component <br /> and make the costs fair for commercial and residential <br /> • What are future cost needs of water/sewer departments <br /> • Sewer and Water Ordinance needs updating <br /> • Update the rate study that was done in 2007 <br /> • Explore the WAC and SAC fee system for the purpose of encouraging <br /> economic development <br /> 5. BLAEDC Presentation <br /> Sheila Haverkamp updated the EDC on new economic development initiatives <br /> that are available which will hopefully lead to potential projects. <br /> 6. Chamber Presentation <br /> Ruth Ann Hanson updated the EDC on Chamber happenings and goals. <br /> 7. Other Business <br /> There was no other business. <br /> 8. September 20th EDC Meeting <br /> Landis/Gyr will attend the September 20th EDC meeting. <br /> 9.
