Request to Allocate Monev to Capital Outlay Carryover <br />The Mayor stated that the Fire Chief has requested to allocate $40,000 <br />from the cash balance to the capital outlay carryover account for the future <br />purchase of a fire truck and/or 800 MHz radios. <br />-� <br />COUNCIL MEMBER RYAN MOVED TO AUTHORIZE THE <br />DESIGNATION OF $40,000 FROM THE FIRE DEPARTMENT CASH <br />BALANCE TO THE CAPITAL OUTLAY CARRYOVER FUND FOR <br />FUTURE PURCHASE OF A FIRE TRUCK AND/OR 800 MHZ RADIOS. <br />COUNCIL MEMBER MALECHA SECONDED THE MOTION. MOTION <br />CARRIED 5-0. -� <br />8. Police Department Monthly Report <br />Report received by Council. <br />8.1. LARJP Update <br />Jim Oraskovich updated the Council on the LARJP program. He noted <br />that 2010 completes 5t" year of the program. He reviewed a snapshot of <br />the growth in the program. <br />8.2. Call Special Meetinq to Discuss Police Department Orqanization <br />Mayor Adams stated she would like to the Council to call a special <br />meeting for January 18t" to begin discussions on the Police Department <br />structure. <br />MAYOR ADAMS MOVED TO CALL A SPECIAL MEETING OF THE <br />CITY COUNCIL ON JANUARY 18, 2011, AT 6:00 P.M. TO BEGIN <br />DISCUSSIONS ON THE STRUCTURE OF THE CITY POLICE <br />DEPARTMENT. COUNCIL MEMBER MALECHA SECONDED THE <br />MOTION. MOTION CARRIED 5-0. <br />
