� <br />JOB EVALUATION COMMITTEE MEETING <br />JANUARY 10, 2011 <br />PRESENT: Sandy Peine, Nancy Malecha, Mike Loven, Nancy Adams, Kate Petersen <br />The Committee acknowledged that they have been directed by Council to review job <br />descriptions, job points and pay for the positions of Water/Wastewater Manager and <br />Maintenance Supervisor. <br />WATER/WASTEWATER MANAGER <br />JOB DESCRIPTION <br />The Committee reviewed the job description that was adopted for the position in 2007. <br />The Committee made a few changes to the description. <br />JOB POINTS <br />The Committee reviewed the job points which are currently at 261. The Committee made <br />no change to the job points. <br />PAY <br />The committee reviewed the pay scale for the position of Water/Wastewater Manager. <br />� Tina Nolden is currently at step 11 ($17.32 per hour) at the position of Water/Wastewater <br />Operator. The Committee is recommending that the pay be increased to $17.86 which is <br />step 4 of the Water Wastewater Manager position. This recommendation is based on <br />Council Member Ryan's recommendation that Tina receive an increase equivalent to one <br />step in her current position. The Committee also based this increase on the City's <br />Administrative Procedures it follows for making these types of adjustments. <br />MAINTENANCE SUPERVISOR <br />JOB DESCRIPTION <br />The Committee reviewed the job description that was adopted for the position in 2007 <br />and made a few changes. <br />JOB POINTS <br />The Committee reviewed the job points which are currently at 289. Following its review, <br />the Committee is recommending changing the points from 289 to 303. This change is <br />recommended because the committee believes the class of Highway Maintenance <br />Supervisor at 100% better reflects the job duties for the position. <br />PAY <br />Mike Loven is currently at Step 10 of the Public Works Supervisor position ($25.66 per <br />�.. <br />hour). The Committee is recommending that his wage be reduced to $23.62 per hour <br />
