The Building Committee is also recommending <br />that the City not pay the utilities and that the lease be renewed every two <br />years. <br />The Council discussed the proposed terms. It was the consensus of the <br />Council not to pay the utility bills and that the lease should be renewed <br />every couple of years so that the costs to the City can be evaluated. <br />MAYOR ADAMS MOVED TO TAKE THE BUILDING COMMITTEE'S <br />RECOMMENDATION REGARDING THE PROPOSED LEASE TERMS. <br />COUNCIL MEMBER GARDNER SECONDED THE MOTION. Other Business <br />Mayor Adams stated that the City's ordinance regarding no parking on <br />City Streets during certain hours in the winter months is not being <br />enforced. She stated that it is important to enforce this ordinance to <br />ensure the safety of the City employees who are plowing snow and for <br />efficiency in plowing. <br />12. Adiournment <br />There being no further business, COUNCIL MEMBER GARDNER <br />MOVED TO ADJOURN. COUNCIL MEMBER SJOBLAD SECONDED <br />THE MOTION.
