6. The Forest Management zone can be established adjacent to Agriculture, Rural <br /> Residential,Transition Residential, Commercial, and Light Industrial zones. Rezoning to <br /> Forest Management would not be compatible with the Downtown Mixed Use zone just to <br /> the west. <br /> 7. The property was zoned Rural Residential under the previous ordinance, which had a <br /> minimum lot area of 5 acres and a minimum lot width of 200 feet. Rezoning to <br /> Transition Residential would not change the minimum lot area or width. <br /> 8. The parcel area of 6 acres meets the minimum lot area of 5 acres for the Transition <br /> Residential zone. <br /> 9. The parcel lot width of 271 feet meets the minimum lot width of 200 feet for the <br /> Transition Residential zone. <br /> Planning Commission Direction: The Planning Commission can recommend that the City <br /> Council approve,deny,or table this rezoning. <br /> Staff Recommendation: Based on the findings of fact presented in this report, the Staff <br /> recommends that the property be rezoned to Transition Residential.
